Bride Cancelled Her Wedding After after friends and family Refused to Pay Her $1,500 Attendance Fee

bride cancels weddingWe don't need to tell you that weddings can get expensive. Even with the most meticulous budgeting, a few unexpected costs are bound to crop up. While most brides tend to accept this as fact, one Canadian woman, who is only known as "Susan," attempted to circumvent all wedding costs by asking her friends and family to pay up to attend her wedding. It went about as well as you'd expect.

"Susan" is causing quite the debate online after posting a bizarre Facebook rant about her now-cancelled wedding. Yup, the couple called off the wedding just days before their I dos, after their guests refused to pay the $1,500 attendance fee Susan was demanding in order to pay for her CAD $60,000 ($46,020 USD) dream wedding.

In her long-winded, expletive-filled explanation, the (former) bride accused her friends and family of ruining her marriage and her life. “How could we have our wedding that we dreamed of without proper funding? We'd sacrificed so much and only asked each guest for around $1,500. We talked to a few people who even promised us more to make our dream come true," she reportedly wrote on Facebook. "My maid of honor pledged $5,000 along with her planning services. We tearfully thanked and accepted. My ex's family offered to contribute $3,000. So our request for $1,500 for all other guests was not fvcking out of the ordinary. Like, we made it clear. If you couldn't contribute, you weren't invited to our exclusive wedding. It's a once and a lifetime party.”

The woman explained the couple met at 14 and worked together on her family’s farm. They then went to community college and worked and saved to “become financially stable.”

“We managed to save up nearly $15K for a wedding. Since our love was like a fairy tale, we wanted an extravagant blow out wedding, one where our son could be included,” the woman wrote. “We started touring venues and were torn between two. A local psychic told us to go with the more expensive option, and we thought why the hell not?”

The bride went on to say during her foul-mouthed rant that all the couple needed for their grand $60K wedding was “a little push.”

“Our dream wedding amounts to 60K – all included with flights to Aruba. All we asked was for a little help from our friends and family to make it happen.”

The 17-paragraph outburst said the pair “specifically asked for cash gifts” from the guests.

“How could we have OUR wedding that WE dreamed of without proper funding? We’d sacrificed so much and only asked each guest for around $1,500.”

Kim Kardashian West is not going to law school, despite Kanye West Explains

Kim Kardashian becoming a lawyer? (Husband Kanye West mentioned over the weekend that his wife is in school. “My wife is in law school now, and it’s extremely serious to us”)

Kim Kardashian has been using her platform to raise awareness on prison reform in the past year, but is she fully pursuing a career in law? The reality TV star and beauty mogul was rumored to be attending law school after her husband, Kanye West, seemed to drop a hint in an interview last weekend.

A rep for Kardashian clarified that she is not in school but rather she’s deeply involved in prison reform and likened her work to attending school.

When asked about his wife's involvement in prison reform, West told Extra (per Us Weekly), "I love it, I love it. That's all we focus on, helping people that don't have a voice, breaking down the class systems. There's two million African Americans incarcerated now, We're going to get people out, period?"

Is Kim Kardashian Actually Studying at Law School?

"Bellow this video of kim kardashian in law school"

As for her education, Kardashian, 37, did attend Pierce College for a short period and worked the cash register of her family’s Dash store before fame struck.

However, a rep for Kim clarified to Extra that the star isn't actually in law school, but that she "is so entrenched in the legal system with her activism that it is like going to law school."

Earlier this summer, Kardashian visited the White House and met with President Trump and encouraged him to release Alice Marie Johnson, who was sentenced to life in prison for a nonviolent, drug-related crime. About a week later, Trump granted Johnson clemency.
